Redinger Inc. is a family-owned water well drilling company in Yacolt, in Clark County. It says it has drilled wells for more than 30 years and drills residential and commercial wells in Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania and Lewis counties. It is a member of the National Ground Water Association and the Washington State Ground Water Association.

How it works. The company uses air rotary drilling equipment and says an average-depth well usually takes one to two days. Before drilling, the office can research nearby well records to show typical depths and yields in the area. A site visit sets the well location and GPS coordinates. Redinger then files the required start notice with Ecology, plus a well site evaluation application for Clark County parcels.

After drilling. The finished well is capped with a welded steel lid, ready for a pump. Redinger does not list pump installation. It says several pump contractors work in its area and that it can pass the drilling record to the pump installer the customer picks. The office files the completed well report with Ecology and gives a copy to the customer, and in Clark County also to the county health department.

Licensing. Ecology’s driller search lists two operators at the company with active water well licenses. L&I lists a general contractor registration.
