Lofall Well Drilling is a water well driller in Poulsbo, in Kitsap County, founded in 1988. It says it covers Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam and Mason counties, and describes itself as a full-service company for wells, pumps and pressure systems, residential connections and pump house construction.
New wells. The company drills residential, community (Group B) and replacement water wells. It says it develops a stainless steel telescoping screen in each well, and handles the permits with the Department of Ecology and the local health department. It also arranges inorganic and bacteriological water quality analysis and water system design.
Existing wells. It deepens wells whose production has dropped. It tries to rejuvenate tired wells by cleaning or replacing the screen, surging the water-bearing zones, or removing sand that has settled in the bottom of the casing. It decommissions old wells, including hand-dug wells and wells that sit within a drain field setback, and handles the permits and reports.
Pumps and tanks. It replaces all types of well pumps and upgrades or repairs pump and pressure tank systems, including pump house plumbing. The products it lists include Grundfos SQE and Pentair Pentek Intellidrive constant-pressure pumps, Goulds pumps, Johnson well screens, and WellMate and Flexcon pressure tanks.
Licensing. The company publishes its L&I contractor registration and an Ecology operator license number. Ecology’s driller search lists two water well operators at the company. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
