Gregory Drilling, Inc. is a drilling contractor with its office in North Bend, in King County. The company began in North Dakota in 1975. Much of its work is environmental, geotechnical, sonic, limited-access and mineral exploration drilling, but it also drills home water wells and irrigation wells.

Home water wells. Its water well page describes analyzing nearby wells and aquifers, getting the Ecology permit, setting an 18-foot surface seal, and installing screens where needed. It says a pump dealer then installs the pump, usually within one to two days. The company also rehabilitates low-producing wells, for example by cleaning the screen or deepening the well. Its dual rotary rigs can advance 6- to 24-inch casing.

Irrigation wells. The company drills irrigation wells for farms and orchards across central and eastern Washington, naming Yakima, Moses Lake, the Tri-Cities, Ritzville and Walla Walla. It says it has drilled wells as deep as 2,800 feet and up to 24 inches in diameter.

Decommissioning and video inspection. It decommissions water, geotechnical and environmental wells, handles the permits, and names Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Bellingham, Tacoma, Olympia, Yakima, the Tri-Cities and Spokane among its areas. Its downhole video inspections cover wells 2 inches and larger to depths of 2,000 feet, including home wells being bought or sold. Each inspection comes with a written report and the footage.

Other work and licensing. It also lists geothermal heating and cooling drilling. Ecology’s driller search lists several operators at the company holding water well and resource protection licenses. L&I lists a contractor registration with the well drilling specialty.
