Ag Health Laboratories is a Sunnyside lab that mainly tests feed, forage, milk and animal samples. Its water page says it analyzes drinking water, non-potable and agricultural samples, and that it is certified for coliform (MPN and presence/absence) and nitrate testing on drinking water.
Tests. Total coliform count (Colilert Quanti-Tray), total coliform and E. coli presence/absence, and nitrate. The lab says coliform results are ready 24 hours after the test starts and nitrate usually within 24 hours. It does not list arsenic or other metals for drinking water.
Prices. Prices published on the lab’s pricing page (viewed 2026-10-24): Colilert MPN $48.00, E. coli presence/absence $34.00, nitrate $45.00.
Drop-off. Besides the Sunnyside lab, the lab lists drop boxes at RDO in Pasco, WSU Extension in Union Gap, Udder Health Systems in Lynden and RDO in Hermiston, Oregon. It asks customers to call (509) 836-2020 after dropping off samples so the courier picks them up. Lab hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Accreditation. Ecology accreditation C831 (current certificate C831-26). The Department of Health lists the lab for nitrate and coliform testing of private wells.
